Evangelia Bougatzeli is Laboratory Teaching Staff in the Department of Primary Education at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece.
She teaches information literacy to the first year teacher education students and critical literacy on the Web to the second and fourth year teacher education students. For 20 years she worked in the University’s Library, responsible for the digital cataloguing services and as a user training librarian.
Evangelia has a MA degree in Library and Information Studies from Robert Gordon University, Scotland UK, and a Bachelor degree for the History and Archaeology Department of AUTh.
Her research interests are critical information literacy, and critical literacy on the Web in tertiary and primary education.
