Infrastructure

The educational, research and administrative functions of the School of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are housed in the Tower of the Faculty of Education in the central campus of University, as well as in the facilities of the old Academy of Pedagogy located at the eastern side of the city of Thessaloniki in Archaeologikou Mouseiou street.

The Tower of the Faculty of Education is located on the central campus of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. opposite to the University’s Student Club on 3rd of September street. The construction of the imposing ten-storey building was completed in 2002 and it immediately became an emblematic landmark of the city of Thessaloniki’s skyline, as well as a reference point for the people of Thessaloniki.

The Computer Isle of the Faculty of Education is situated on the 1st floor of the Tower, boasting a capacity of 25 PCs. The Faculty’s Library and the School’s Secretariat are located on the 2nd floor of the Tower, while the offices of the Faculty members are located on the 5th, 70th and 9th floor. A spacious Hall has been constructed on the 10th floor, designed specifically to host academic conferences, book presentations, workshops and seminars, as well as theatrical and other artistic events.

Part of the School’s educational and research functions are housed in the old Academy of Pedagogy located at the eastern side of the city of Thessaloniki in Archaeologikou Mouseiou street. The complex is comprised of three buildings, where the School’s archive, the facilities of the School’s Research Centers, an amphitheater and 2 lecture halls are housed, along with the School’s gym.
