Kyriakos Bonidis is a graduate of the Pedagogical Academy of Thessaloniki and the School of Philosophy, Education and Psychology (Faculty of Philosophy) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th). He has a master’s degree in “Education” (with minor in Social Psychology and Cognitive Psychology) and PhD in Education from the same School. He also holds the “European Diploma in Education and Training”. From 2000 to 2023 he was a faculty member (Associate Professor) of the School of Philosophy and Education of the A.U.Th. He was also scientific coordinator of many educational and research projects.

His scientific and research interests focus on Peace Education; on research and theory of school curricula, educational process, evaluation and textbooks; on curriculum, teaching and evaluation in the university; on methodological issues of qualitative educational research, mainly critical and post – structural; on practical training of educational staff; on Intellectual history and epistemological issues of Pedagogy / Educational Science / Educational Sciences.
